Wyoming Chemical Abuse Research Education

SURVEY OF WYOCARE

WyoCARE, the Wyoming Chemical Abuse Research and Violence Prevention Education Program, is coordinated through the Counseling Education Department at the University of Wyoming. We house a large inventory of resources for substance abuse and alcohol prevention, domestic violence, sexual assault and victim services education, and treatment and mental health issues. We disseminate publications from a national clearinghouse for alcohol and drug Information and maintain a library of materials and videos for loan to educators, mental health agencies, healthcare professionals, private practitioners, prevention groups and families throughout Wyoming. WyoCARE is funded by grants from the Wyoming Department of Health, Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services Division and the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office, Division of Victim Services.
